FAQ about Diamonds!

Natural Diamond

“Natural diamond” usually refers to diamonds that are formed naturally in the Earth’s mantle over billions of years under high pressure and temperature.

Lab Grown Diamond

They’re real diamonds, just made in a lab instead of being mined from the earth. Same chemical composition (carbon), same crystal structure (cubic), same sparkle. Even expert gemologists need special tools to tell them apart from natural ones.

Are lab-grown diamonds real?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds — they’re just created in a lab instead of the earth.

HPHT Diamonds

(High Pressure High Temperature) Lab-created diamonds are made by mimicking the natural conditions under which diamonds form deep in the Earth.

CVD Diamond

CVD stands for Chemical Vapor Deposition. It’s a process used to create lab-grown diamonds that are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds. These diamonds are real diamonds — just grown in a lab instead of formed deep within the Earth.

Moissanite Diamond

Moissanite and diamonds often get compared because they look very similar, but they’re quite different in terms of origin, composition, cost, and appearance.
